I know MAXDOP for SQL EXPRESS is 1. Even if we set it to a different value SQL server ignores it. (Please correct me if I'm wrong).
In the same line of thinking, does changing "cost threshold for parallelism" has any affect in SQL EXPRESS? Does SQL EXPRESS honors this setting?
