I have 2 asp.net pages. In one I set several asp:Hiddenfield for which I set the .Text value (confirmed)
I then have a 2nd POSTBack PAge and when I ger their I had been using Request.Form("Name of ID Used") to retrieve the value. I recently converted these pages into codebehind pages, from onthepage code and now use a MasterPage
The values are still there when I get to Page 2, BUT the key value is now different it is something like ctl000NameofPlaceholder$NameofHiddenField.
The is a problem: is the a better way to access the field value then request.form(""). It was such a nice direct way.
I did read about the ClientID and the different option, but the field name is stil the amalgamation.
