I've started to build my application using the default provider to handle login etc, and I didn't specify anything specific in the web.config (no <membership> section at all), and things seem to be working well.  However, when working on a page to allow admins to add or edit users, I find that the default setting for RequiresQuestionAndAnswer is true, which isn't what I'm looking for.
When I try to define any sort of provider in the web.config it breaks my app, even if I use the same provider name (AspNetSqlMembershipProvider).  I'm trying to define a second provider to use solely for admins, but I haven't gotten that to work.  Is this possible?  Can I modify the default provider without screwing everything up?  Am I handling this whole thing incorrectly?
