Hi all,
I have a requirement to configure the outage text for my website.. So, i have placed my outage text in one of key /value pair in appsettings(Web.config) file.But unfortunately i have to introduce new line to show the text in new line while rendering to browser..
I have tried adding <br/> it throws up an xml syntax error and i even tried below xml syntax
<br />
<br>
\n
Above all displays as it is i.e like <br/>, \n .. but not trasnformed to new line while rendering into browser ..One solution is add some default value like "LINEBREAK" in between configured value and replace that
value in code behind file as "<br/>". In this way it works, but it is not the best solution i beleive.. Kindly help us
