We have a VS2010/ASP.NET 4.0 website. Recently, a co-worker modified some webpages with
2 include .inc files. I remember using .inc when worked on the claasic ASP websites. Now, when
opening these webpages in Design, a Master Page error popped up, indicating that the markup
is not valid when attached to a Master page.
Here are my questions:
1. What does the 'Master Page error' mean? The 2nd line of the pop-up error is: Correct the
problem in Code View.
2. What can we do with the classic ASP .inc files in ASP.NET? Anything in new ASP.NET will
work fine as the .inc files in classic ASP?
