How do I get both ASP.NET web sites to work independently?

Attributes:



SQL Server 2005 Express

Windows Server 2003

IIS

Visual Studio WEB Developer 2005

Original published website authenticates.

Second newly published website generates "Your login attempt was not successful. Please try again."

Both websites have their own copies of the Visual Studio generated authentication ASPNETDB.MDF.   They are almost identical.
New requirement:



A second almost identical site using a different port is required for BETA testing on the same Windows Server 2003.  Require input from users before final publication.
Question:



How do I get both ASP.NET web sites to work independently?
