selected values of listbox

In web page  i have a two list boxes  -- values selected from one list box will move to other list box.
How to get values of list box that are selected? I written java script to move values.
IList<int> customerID = new List<int>(); foreach (ListItem litem in listSelected.Items) { customerID.Add(int.Parse(litem.Value)); }
not working
