Improving the page Load time.

Hi All,
I have an asp.net page, which contains 3 methods, each method will make individual DB calls (oracle  & SQl Server) and loads the data in the repeater control on the page.
It takes around 25 - 30 seconds to load the page. Is there anyway to load the page after the 1st method is executed and then load the other methods after the page gets loaded.
Found an article in web that says about document.flush() but looks like that doesnt work for me.
