Hyperlink works in IE but not in Chrome or firefox

I have a code in Gridview like this
    <asp:HyperLinkField DataNavigateUrlFields="Images"                    DataNavigateUrlFormatString="\\Server1\PathA\scan\{0}" DataTextField="ImageName"                 HeaderText="Images" SortExpression="Images" Target="_blank"/>

The file resides in a file server (not webserver) which has granted rights to ASP/net account already.

If open the aspx in IE, the hyperlink works well and pulls up the pdf
but in Chrome and Firefox, onclick, nothing happened
Pls help
