I apologize if this question has been answered before. I have not found a satisfactory reply in any similar threads.
I have a few hundred .mdf files totaling well over 100 gigabytes. I want to attach each file as an individual database within SQL Server Express 2008 R2.
Does the 10GB database size limit limit the size of each individual .mdf file, or does it limit the total size of
all databases within an instance of SQL Server Express 2008 R2?
Essentially, will I be able to load all of these files as separate databases, or am I capped at 10GBs total across all databases?
