I can't seem to solve this its been almost 2 years and this issue recurring with no similar case documented on the web.
Basically I'm creating a HttpWebRequest and assigning it a WebProxy object which has custom credentials, I can confirm that WebRequest is indeed using the proxy but for some reason the WebProxy is ignoring the Credentials and using logged in credential (from
what I'm observing) so what happens is that I'm locally debugging the ASP .NEt application and it works fine cause I'm authenticated to use the proxy, but then I deploy the application to a server and there it doesnt work, UNLESS I login remotely to that server
then it starts working until a few days or a week then stops.
So what I observed is even though in the server I'm specifying a certain credentail for the application pool it is not using it, it actually uses mine once I login because my code only works once I login with my credential (or any authen ...
