I love with ASP.Net templates they put linking accounts to external services in. With the Google authentication is it possible to extend this so that the user's Google Mail and Calendar is accessible when they are logged in? i.e. Send/Get Mail or Read/Write

I know you can use the Google APIs for this but seems more logical to me to attempt to extend what MS has already provided with the template. If not has someone used the Google API with this authentication as a bolt-on?
