I have a requirement:
My web project will present user a search result in Gridview, the result include multiple documents in it, the formats are mainly PDF at this moment (but could be any other other formats like JPG, Word Doc or XLS). User will need the ability to click on
one single button to download a single file and the single file will be the merge result of the above all the documents the search result includes.
I know how to download files (PDF or other common formats) one by one, but it will generate a download file dialog and user will have to click to download it - this will be unacceptable as most search result has over 100 documents with it.
Here is the code I use to download a single file:
