Hi All,
I'm a newbie.  Our W2003K web server with IIS6 that I inherited died, so I had to rebuild it as W2008SP2 and setup IIS7.  There is one "default" website that hosts access to 4 diferent sites (eg. www.mywebsite.com/joessite/) but the main site (eg. www.mywebsite.com) had an Active Directory login feature that I can't get to work.  I don't know if I need to setup a virtual application or how to activate the windows activation feature within the page.  Basically when I navigate to the webpage it goes to what is the default.htm page and just shows the html page and is not interactive.
I copied some info from an old image of the dead W2K3 server where it showed a "default.htm properties box" within the IIS managment list under the website, and the ASP.Net tab shows a virtual path to the /software/default.htm path, file location pointing to the Inetpub\wwwroot\software\web.config path; the File tab shows & ...

Go to the complete details ...
