This is very urgent, I really hope someone can help me in this.
VS 2010 crashed on me yesterday in debugging stage. After machine hard boot, that ASPX.CS file is not opening in VS anymore but opens in Notepad as blank document.
There was no Auto-recover message on VS on machine restart. I have checked VS folder but no backup files there.
I searched all temp files of that time period or for yesterday but no success.
Rest of all the files of website are good only the code behind file which was running at crash time got corrupted. This file size is definitely reduced to 32KB (before crash approx 48KB). I can understand
that opening in Notepad as blank document means VS2010 is unable to read the file contents anymore. But is there any way to recover this?
I am using Windows 7 (64bit) and VS2010 ...
