Hello,
We run an ecommerce website and we are trying to implement a caching strategy. Right now we are moving all of our code into user controls, and seperating the code between dynamic & static content. We plan on caching the static content in the user controls
with the OutputCache directive.
One of the parts of the dynamic content is the users pricing on individual products. When a user logs into the site their pricing comes up, and the pricing could be different for every user. The pricing is updated multiple times per day as well. The part
of the code that displays the pricing for the user is very CPU intensive.
My question is are there any strategies to cache the prices for this senario? I would probably want to cache for 600 seconds.
Any ideas?
Thanks in advance
