I am having a problem converting a string "21-11-2013 0:00:00" to its DateTime equivalent in my ASPX page (happens when tested with Windows XP (Dutch language)) .
This string is the default current date returned by the SQL reporting server.
System.Globalization.CultureInfo.CurrentUICulture.DateTimeFormat.ShortDatePattern = dd-MM-yyyy.
DateTime.TryParseExact("21-11-2013 0:00:00", System.Globalization.CultureInfo.CurrentUICulture.DateTimeFormat.ShortDatePattern, null, System.Globalization.DateTimeStyles.None, out parsedDate)
The code above returns False.
Is there a way to convert the string (which can be in any format depending on the regional settings of the computer) correctly?
Thank you.
