Wnat to have a section invisible - apart from Panel, what control we can use ?

I have to have a section of the page turn invisible on buttonclick.
I enclose the section with panel control. But it is causing trouble on AJAX postback.
So apart from Panel, any other method or control can help me enclose with it and control visible property like Panel ?
Thanks
