Authorization to access pages in asp.net 2.0

I am currently using active directory to authenticate users to my website

Now i want to authorize different pages to different roles like admin,user,supervisor,security manager

Do i need to add the user roles in active directory and use them from there ? or Can i simply create a table with username and roles and filter the pages based on the roles ?

is there any syntax for apage authorization in webconfig like

<page name="deafult.aspx">

<allow roles="admin,user,deuser"

<deny="*"

<page name ="adminpage"

<allow roles="*">

Any solutions.suggestiosn are really appreciated
