I am trying to install and configure forum onto my existing website. I am using Visual Studio 2010 and windows XP and all my files are stored locally before i upload them to the server (later on)
In the documentation for the forum one step is asking me to go to IIS console, find the website and right click the forum folder where all files are stored then convert it to application.
How do i do it on my local XP and would i have to do it over again on the server which is hosting my website again?
Is there a better way to handle IIS with VS2010?
