I have this in my aspx page:

and this in the code-behind:

End Property

However, MyBase.newsDocsBasePath gives a compile error that 'newsDocsBasePath' is not a member of 'System.Web.UI.Page'. What can I do to make non-shared properties and methods of thein the codebehind visible in the aspx? With shared methods it's easy, you can use eg.:
