sending strings to page...

Hi I'm having an issue with sending strings to the correct part of the web page.

I'm running a stored proc and a C# behind code file to call in some cells of an sql server based on an ID.
Then i send these to a string and trim the string using a while loop.:
myData.Replace("", myReader["MyData"].ToString().Trim());

now i want to then add the string myData to an HTML tag. i've tried different ways but none seem to work.

if you could let me know of a way to place data into tags this would be v helpful.
