i am installing new ram on my grandfathers computer and he has 4 ram slots each group has 2 slots the sides are black and white on each one so it is bw bw and he has a total of 512 2 256 it looks like this 266/empty 256/empty he just bought 2gb 2 1 gb can i put both of the rams in and have it look like 1024/256 1024/256 or what how do i place it thx ...
