I realize this ventures off the topic of ASP.net slightly, but I am using ASP.net to implement these ideas, so here is my situation and question for you.
Situation
I need to design a report (i have done many with this company) that will look through a list of Ecommerce shopping cart orders over a date range (something like, past 7 days, or Jan15 - Jan18). Using the data returned (every transaction made) i need to create an application that will generate a report filled with conspicuous items. Currently, I pull all the data into a dataset, then do a .Select (in asp/vb.net) to find any records that match the criteria of: 1 credit card, that uses multiple billing addresses. 1 shipping address, that uses multiple credit cards. items purchased during the time range of 1:30 am - 5:30 am (we are a smaller company).
