I have created a widget/application framework for developers to write asp.net based applications. The framework is pretty much complete and in production. Currently the developer has to compile there app and move up the markup(aspx,ascx,etc..) and dll to the server. I want to automate this process as well as provide a web based solution for browsing, rating, and installing these applications. While I realize I could write my own, I wanted to first ask the community if any such open source frameworks exist. While I prefer a .net solution I would consider other technologies as well... java, php, python... I have explored pulse but feel it isn't a great fit.
