Hey guys, I have been building a web application and for the better but of development, I have been using the built in roles management using Visual Studio 2008.
Obviously this isnt ideal when the system is rolled out, so I built a page that allows the user to add and remove users from roles, by using the 'aspnet_Roles' and 'aspnet_UsersInRoles'. Problem is, the application isnt honoring these roles.
I have had a look around and found that you configure the web.config file to look at the database connection, which would be the sql one, but it doesnt seem to be working... What am I doing wrong???
