Client side validation can be turned off by disabling javascript but wouldn't the edit, insert, etc buttons used by gridview, detailsview, etc also be turned off? (hence, no information would be passed at all) Can some give me a quick example of why this is not the case (does it have to do with javascript being disabled in between an action button and validation...)
