I have a vb.net web page that allows the user to browse to three files, and then click upload. The file upload part works great, and users only have to click "upload" once after they browse and select their documents. I'm also storing the file name, and some other fields (FileType, time of upload, their UserID, etc) in a sql database. FileType is a databound drop down box that the user chooses the type of document they are uploading (accounting doc, marketing doc, etc) as they browse to each file. So, there are three FileType dropdown boxes and three FileUpload fields.
The problem I'm having is inserting the value from the Filetype dropdown box for each document as it loops thru and inserts data on all three uploaded files. I can't figure out how to set FileType equal to the selected value for each of the three file upload fields. What I've tried, throws an error saying that @FileType is ...
