I am very new to AJAX and also pretty green in Javascript also. I am doing a remote call to a page method and trying to retreive a Poll object.
While trying to pass this object to my javascript callback fuction I get the error:error: "a circular reference was detected while serializing an object of type: Poll.
The problem is with this property: 'Options' . If I remove this property then it works fine.
That property retreives from the Option object a list of child objects of the Poll object which are the Options (poll options). I must ask, is there something I can do other than just removing that property? is there not a attribute I can put in front of the property declaration that would make the serializer omit that property??
the problem is strictly with this property. When it is removed then I do not get the error.
