I am developing asp.net web application with vb.net. I am adding new attribute to all asp.net controls as follow to do some internal process.
<asp:Literal ID="ltrContent" runat="server" key="TempKey"></asp:Literal>
<asp:Label ID="lblDivision" runat="server" Text="Preferred Divisions" key="SearchMentor_lblDivision"/>
When I give the new attribute to asp label control it accepted. But, the literal control is not accpeted and showing the following error.
