I am using VS2008 (C#) and oracle or SQL Server for my projects. All the project which I am working on uses C#, Asp.net, javascript, web services, ajax controls. I havn't used anything else.
I want to know what other technologies like Ajax that can be used in my project. My manager is open to my ideas and he doesn't have any problem till the required functionality is covered.
But I want to use more technologies in my project to make the project more user friendly and also which will help me to develop my knowledge.
I can see generics, web parts etc in VS2008 but never used it. Can any one explain me in details what else i can use and in which scenarios these will be used. For the Ajax controls, I downloaded the dll's from internet and it didn't put any extra cost for license. So I am looking in the same way for new kind of coding techniques that will not put extra cost but will help the project to use different controls and improve ...
