Issue in removing row from a table.

I need to delete a row from a table in javascript r jquery,
so i used this method,
$('#' + RowId ).remove();
It is work in my local system, 
but in Remote site,  it deos not work...
RowId is the parameter from user click any rows, thats not a problem.....
I checked it there is no issue in parameters.
i pass the RowId as the parameter.
