I am still new to asp.net. I am using visual basic. Now I have a report where I am passing parameters to few text boxes and clicking a button. The text boxes are in a panel control. The parameters are passed to a sql server stored procedure. It is taking about two minutes (or even more) for the stored procedure to process the logic. While the user looks at the screen to get the result, I would like to provide a progress bar that would show the progress of the processing of report. Is there any sample that explains the use of progress bar in visual basic? I would like to get the concept of a working progress bar code if somebody could show me some link. I appreciate the help.
