I wasn't sure where to post this, so 'getting started' seemed like the best place.
I've been getting the error Sys is undefined while trying to a simple Asp.Net AJAX web app from a tutorial on MSDN. I have searched many forums this morning trying to sort this out, but they all seem to focus on .NET 1.0, 1.1 or 2.0.
My set up is as follows:
Windows XP pro, IIS 5.1, VS2008 targetting .NET 3.5.
When I created the website (via the Tutorial's instructions) I did choose 'Local IIS' and clicked 'Create new web application'. Obviously, running on IIS 5.1, the website is created under 'Default Web Site'.
I would be very grateful if someone could assist me with this problem, otherwise this newbie to Asp.Net AJAX might not get much further!
