Hi all of you,
I am very worried about this free Microsoft's version. I've built a sql2k5 EE database for my .NET platform. My platform encompass several desktop's EXE which must run on differents machines; one Android tablet, one standalone touchscreen PC and a couple
of standard Windows 7 clients.
We have been doing tests and apparently my database is off throught the network...
I do not understand why, having in mind this points:
-Windows 7 firewall disabled.
-PING reaches each other
-Allow remote connections is enabled in my Sql properties.
-No physical or other network elements among them.
-Named pipes, Tcp/IP and VIA protocols are enabled.
Setup for the machine where Sql2k5 EE is installed:
-Windows 7 Professional 64 bit, 4 Gb RAM
I want to strees one point -probably remarkable-: the machine where I have installed this RDBMS is a 64-bit machine, insist, ...
