i am developing a website in ASP.NET(VB)/SQL Server
i have got a question, the folder that contains all my webpages is presently on the server, the reason of not putting that folder on local hard drive is only that i will be able to run the website on server to test it
now my question is when we are dealing with the database and webpages are connected to database , the database is in app_code folder ok
now where should i save the database ???? i mean i tried creating database on the server but its not allowed to save database files on network (i get this msg everytime i try to save it on network server)
now the point is if i save my database on local hard drive, and my webpages are on the server, i will be able to use to connected my pages with the database by directing/browsing it to the local drive location but WHEN my website will be completed and it will be on the webhosting server then where will my database go ? becoz all the pages will have the locatio ...
