This is driving me crazy. I have an app that requires all users to log in. This is working fine. Now I am trying to add a secured section of the site that is only available to users in the "administrators" role (using membership). I have a folder named "admin", and I have a single web.config in the root of my site with the following code that *should* restrict access to only people logged in and who are assigned to the administrator role. However, It is denying access to EVERYONE. Also, I am using the LoggedInView to display the admin link to administrators, but that link shows up for everyone, whether they are an admin or not.
What am I doing wrong? Thanks!
