How to get HTTP HOST in Global.asax?

I wanted to get the http host in the Application_Start event of Global.asax and save it in the DB.

I'm aware that we can use Request.ServerVariables["HTTP_HOST"] (eg. newyork:8080 ) to get this value, however this will not be supported in IIS 7.0.

Is there any way i can retrieve this information in Application_Start?
