I am currently writing a disk based output cache provider.
However, I am not sure if my overrides of the four virtual methods must swallow all exceptions, or if I can let them propagate up the stack. MSDN has nothing to say on that topic.
The examples I have seen do nothing about exceptions, but then I also could not see anything in ASP.NET (using Reflector) that would handle them.
Any insights?
