i would like to ask what the best approach is for streaming video files with asp.net. i have the following case: i have the movies staged on a server and in a sql database i store the name and path of the file on the server. so when fetching the filename and or location the movie downloads to the client. all of that works fine, but i would like to stream the movies instead. how to handle this? if somebody has an example on how to do this please. but the main must exist and that is what i mentioned before. the physical file stored on the server and name and path in the database.
