Hello, I am a Computer Information Systems student and this is my first semester. My goal is to finish with this associate degree with the major of C# as my programming language instead of C++ and Java.
I have been checking jobs and companies that are hiring ASP .NET developers and most of the criteria they are looking for has "Required: Bachelors..." or "5-8 years experience"
As a student, I would like to have an insight about those developers who are already in this field. What did you guys do to get hired? How did you get experience?
I am planning to run a website and build a unique template and practice ASP .net. I do not know how to get hired or how to get experienced to get hired since most of the entry level do not have that long experience.
What do you need to show to the employer?
Thank you so much. Even though I am still too far away to finish my CIS degree, my brain is thinking way ahead for this job. ...
