selecting multiple values in drop down list

Hi,

I need a list control that allows me to select multiple values from that list. Using a drop down-list there appears to be no way of allowing a user to select multiple values. I can use the listbox to achieve this but since I have a lot of values and need many list controls the listbox takes up too much space on the page.

Can we select multiple values from drop down? If not is there a better way of achieving the above?
