Can someone please enlighten me on why I get a client side error when I change a value in the drop down list below? The error is simply 'Invalid character Line 1, character 2'. By butchering the code and markup, I was able to determine that it has something to do with the script tag itself. If its deleted out of the master page, everything works fine and the postback fires. However, when the script tag is present, with or without code it craps out, even when its simply <script language="vbscript" type="text/vbscript"></script>
I've also tested it in a stand alone page.
