i am currently working on a web business application which is already developed .
the problem is that all the pages open from a menu which is developed using vb6 so i have no login page for application which make it hard
to control the security issue as i cant set any user session or something like that and cookies are not allowed........Now the vb6 menu sends a userid in query string ......and the problem is that if i copy the URL and then go
to someother client PC and paste the URL it opens the page which only the previous user was allowed to visit .....
please any idea that how can i improve the security of this application.......
please do ask if you need more information to understand my problem......
