Ok, I'm a .NET newbie so be gentle.  ;)     I have a set of web forms setup like a wizard, so you fill in the first page, submit, fill in the second page, submit, etc.  The data gets saved into a SQL Server database.   The way I have my code setup, the data gets saved on the postback and the last line of code redirects to the next page.   So all this works fine until I try to setup my validation controls.
So the validation does a postback which fires off my code and does the redirect.  I tried enclosing the database code in a IF statement using Page.IsValid but that throws an error saying I can't use the IsValid here.    I understand the basics of the validation controls such that all that works fine without my database code but I can't figure out how to make the validation work with my database insert and subsequent redirect.
Thanks in advance for any help you guys can offer!< ...
