Hi,
I have implemented chat same as http://anantgarg.com/2009/05/13/gmail-facebook-style-jquery-chat/ in asp.net
I have group chat and individual chat , in group chat all can see messages but in right pane I have all the users, where we can click on them to open a gmail like pop up to chat with them, or if a message comes also it automatically opens pop up
In actual application he used different method to retrieve new messages to pop up menus, but I didnt understand chatheartbeat function(that was in PHP) in that so, I just opened a i frame in gmail like chat pop up. Now my pop up looks same as gmail and everything works fine
Problem is when I open a pop up by clicking on a contact to chat with that person, it opend but in FIREFOX status bar(NOT IN IE) it is showing LOADING ...
