Hi! I recently upgraded from VS2005 to VS2008. I did a full install of VS2008, then opened my existing project in it. This launched the conversion wizard which successfully converted my VS2005 project to VS2008 and it opened in VS2008 without any problem.
However, when I first tried to build the solution in VS2008, I got an error on a page defining a web service saying:
Type <System.Web.Script.Services.ScriptService()> not defined. I tried Googling the error message and got several helpful links about how to call a webservice, but nothing that troubleshoots this error. Any ideas? Anyone? Thanks again in advance for any light you can shed on this.
