I have created a control that implements the IButtonControl and IPostBackEventHandler. This control has an image and a label on it. The control itself is totally clickable. Think of it as a custom button.
I currently handle the onclick and oncommand events just fine. We do have a need to crosspost to a different page. The current button it's replacing is currently doing this, so we don't want to rewrite too much functionality.
So, since we have the PostBackUrl, what's the best method for implementing a cross post in this case. I tried reflecting the existing Button control but it seems to dig deep down into the base Control via private or internal methods. I can't compete with that.
I'm just looking for an alternate solution to reinventing the wheel. I'm doing this in C#, but VB.Net samples would suffice as well.
