passing values from one page to another and using it on postback

from one asp.net page i want to pass values to another page

my values are in arrays ie i get the values from listbox where there are multiple selection

uisng this values i need to populate gridview in page2

at present i am using server.transfer to pass frm one page to naother and on second page i do get the values using request.form method

but problem is i loose the values on postback

is there any way to retain this values on postback.

i think the values can be retained uisng find control method

i tried using it with previouspage.findcontrol  but getting some error

how do i solve it
