caching performance, cache size and performance monitor

Hello,
 
I am using data caching rather aggressively and want to check that I�m not putting too much into the cache how can I easily check on the size of all items in the cache and what the limit is? I know that there are some Cache Counters in performance monitor but I am finding it hard to work out which are important and what the scale is on the left of performance monitor (0 - 100), when I add the counters:
